在很长的一段时期里,在普通物理的教学上呈现着不正常的现象,其中心问题是在于我们没有一本恰当的固定教材。一般英美的或英美系统的普通物理教材在编写的观点上都是陈腐的,同时缺少爱国主义精种,很少从实际出发,忽视概念,大多是祇堆砌了一些生硬的数学式子。我们曾在一个很短的时期里,採用过严济慈的普通物理,发见有很多缺点,从来就未再採用。但再想从萨大栜的、Duff 的或是 Sears 的等等
For a long time there was an anomaly in the teaching of general physics. The central problem was that we did not have a proper teaching material.
