苏州郊区1970年试用了夏季营养钵育苗的技术措施,获得成功,为大面积栽培大白菜摸索到一些经验。1971年全市搞了四十余万只营养钵,收到了良好的效果。娄葑公社新升一队搞了12亩大白菜营养钵,平均亩产85担,大白菜外叶少,结球率高,并且使前茬11亩套种在番茄棚内的冬瓜延长了采收期,每亩多采收1～2次。一、大白菜营养钵育苗的效果采用营养钵育苗能保证季节,提高土地利用率。晚熟大白菜的播种适期,苏州地区为8月下旬,经过营养钵育苗以后,可以在9月15日之前移栽到大田,对夏熟蔬菜中的瓜、豆类延长采收
