在我国文化发展过程中,西方影视作品作为重要文化资源进入了我国文化市场。由于英语影视作品独特的欣赏性,在我国国内受到了广泛欢迎。然而,英语影视剧欣赏中并不是所有人都能够根据原版掌握剧情,汉语字幕就为人们深入获取英语影视剧信息提供了保障。同时,英语影视剧汉语字幕翻译需要较高的技术水平,若不能提供规范化的字幕翻译必然降低影视作品的艺术价值。因此,研究汉语字幕翻译对于推动英语影视剧作品的发展有着重要意义,为西方影视文化在我国推广打下坚实基础。本文就是在此背景下探索当前英语影视剧汉语字幕研究现状,结合现代国内文化发展指出英语影视剧汉语字幕翻译的技巧,为提升英语影视剧汉语字幕翻译技能提供支持。
In the process of our country’s cultural development, western film and television works have entered our cultural market as important cultural resources. Due to the unique appreciation of English film and television works, it has been widely welcomed in our country. However, not all people in English film and television drama appreciation can grasp the story according to the original version, and Chinese subtitles provide a guarantee for people to gain access to English drama information in depth. At the same time, the translation of Chinese subtitles in English film and television plays requires a high level of technical skills. Failure to provide standardized subtitle translation necessarily reduces the artistic value of the film and television works. Therefore, it is of great significance to study the translation of Chinese subtitles to promote the development of English films and TV dramas, laying a solid foundation for the promotion of Western film culture in our country. Based on this background, this article explores the current research status quo of Chinese subtitles in English film and television drama, points out the skills of Chinese subtitle translation in English film and television drama with the development of modern domestic culture, and provides support for improving the subtitle translation skills of English film and television drama.
