Recently, during the preparation of the 1: 1.5 million geologic map of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the author has had the opportunity to collect the Precambrian data in this area and make an initial introduction to the written version. If there is any discrepancy, please criticize and correct it. I. Precambrian distribution The Precambrian in this area is mainly distributed around the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau (Figure 1). Its northern part is located in the southwestern margin of the Tarim Basin, the Altun Mountains, the Kunlun Mountains and the Qilian Mountains; its eastern part is located in the western Qinling, Longmen Mountains and the northern part of the “Kangdian axis”
