亚洲地区信息技术并未因金融危机的影响而放慢前进的步伐,相反正迅速地向前发展,并已显露出勃勃生机。而经济的回升预示着亚洲信息技术将出现更加迅猛发展的势头。从电脑研究和应用到因特网的发展及网上电子商务来看,亚洲地区国家信息技术发展的速度正在赶上或者超过世界其他地区。近几年来,亚洲地区国家更加重视信息技术的发展,在电脑、通信及教育等领域都加大了投资的力度。新加坡历来把建设知识经济社会放在首位,增加投资及注重科技人才的培训和教育,争取把新加坡建设成为亚洲电子商业中心。
Information technology in Asia has not slowed its pace due to the financial crisis. Instead, it is rapidly moving forward and has shown its vitality. The economic rebound indicates the trend of more rapid development of information technology in Asia. From the research and application of computers to the development of the Internet and online e-commerce, the pace of development of national information technology in the Asian region is catching up or surpassing the rest of the world. In recent years, countries in the Asian region have paid more attention to the development of information technology and have increased their investment in such fields as computers, communications and education. Singapore has always put the building of a knowledge-based economy and society in the first place, increasing investment and training and education of science and technology professionals, and striving to build Singapore into an e-commerce hub in Asia.
