On May 8, the GMS rural communication technology and application seminar sponsored by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology was held in Beijing. Participants held extensive exchanges on their valuable experience in the development of rural communications and conducted in-depth discussions on how to further promote rural communications based on their own situation in the subregion. The participants agreed that in the new situation, it is necessary for all countries in the sub-region to continue to strengthen cooperation and jointly promote the development of information and communication technologies in the GMS rural areas
