文学是语言的艺术。一部好的文学作品除了它所描写的思想或情境(内容)本身引人入胜之外,还要看它的语言文字(表现形式)如何组织。同样的内容采用不同的表现形式,表达出的效果完全不同。好的表现形式,即把最恰当的字句安排在最恰当的位置会更精确、更充分地表达出想要表达的内容,使它更有说服力。本文分别以中西方文学作品为例说明了语言形式对文学作品表现力的重要作用。
Literature is the art of language. A good literary work, in addition to the intriguing character of the thought or context (content) it describes, depends on how its language (manifestations) is organized. The same content using different forms of expression, the effect is completely different. A good manifestation, that is, arranging the most appropriate words in the most appropriate place will make the message more precise and fuller, making it more convincing. This paper illustrates the important role that language forms have on the expressiveness of literary works by taking Chinese and Western literature as examples.
