Before booking an interview with Claude Hudelot, the French consul in Shanghai, I first went to the “Number D” creative art gallery on the south bank of the Suzhou River and visited his “Shanghai Marriage Customs” photo exhibition. In the gallery with antique furniture and old-fashioned family decorations, the pictures of the wedding dress before the liberation can be said to complement each other. I am also a photographer and I love collecting old photos. I know that this kind of old wedding photos, the Chinese seldom noticed, but did not think that the Frenchman was quietly collecting. This is the unique vision that qualifies as a successful collector. Therefore, as a project of the Year of Sino-French Culture in 2005, he also held an exhibition on the Champs-Elysees in Paris, attracting the attention of French people. The curator is his wife, Ms. Hargo Renisio, who is currently working in Shanghai Designer. Fish and Lok couple initially worked in Beijing, collecting the theme of China’s “family portrait” photos. In 2002, they came to Shanghai
