曾在1997年第6期《北京政协》月刊上,拜读过苏适委员《书法家写牌匾应允许繁简并用》一文,我很赞成他的意见,也想谈谈自己的看法。关于繁体字与简化字的问题,我与熟识的朋友曾多次议论过。每见到报纸、电视等报道有关检查与拆改牌匾上繁体字时,总有些困惑不解:不仅有关部门不断查,还发动小学生查,给搞得好的街道立牌表扬,可是繁体字仍不断出现。媒介也报道过,有的企业因使用繁体字与主管部门发生争执,宁可缴罚款,不肯改繁体字。企业所持的理由只有一个,这是中国汉字没有错。我拥护有令必行,有禁必止,既作出了决定命令,就要严格执
