草木樨的播种期,因地区和栽培形式不同,也不一样、一般来说,早春、晚春、盛夏、初冬都可以播种。在我省中、西、北部地区,所谓冬播,是指冬前把种子寄放在地里,当年冬季不发芽,第二年春天才发芽出土。草木樨冬播的最大好处是,它有利于排开农活,缓和春季劳力、畜力的紧张程度;在干旱地区,还有充分利用解冻时的返浆水,早吸水、早发芽,防止干旱的作用。
