通过对佛教在中国的发展路线找到佛教绘画的成长路线,分为三个主要时期:早期东汉末年曹不兴的亦步亦趋;中期两晋南北朝戴逵、顾恺之、曹仲达、张僧繇逐将佛画渐融入中国特色;晚期唐朝吴道子、周昉完全形成的中国特色。从时代背景,佛教绘画,代表人物三个部分来分析佛教绘画中国化的历程。
