泾、洛、渭三条河流,总流域面积13.55万平方公里,流域面积大,流域内主要为黄土高原区,其次为土石山区,三河泥沙量大,洪峰遭遇交错复杂。笔者根据历史洪水资料对三条河流洪峰演进过程及其相互遭遇情况作了初步分析。渭河发源于甘肃省渭源县,由西向东横贯关中盆地,在潼关县注入黄河,干流总长818公里,流域面积63200平方公里(不包括泾、洛河)。泾河发源于宁夏回族自治区泾源县,流经我省长武、彬县、旬邑、礼泉、泾阳等县,于高陵县汇入渭河,干流总长455公里,流域面积45400平方公里。洛河发源于我省定边县,流经吴旗、志丹、甘泉、富县、洛川、黄陵、宜君、白水、澄城、蒲城等县,在大荔县注入渭河,干流总长680公里,流域面积26900平方公里,见泾、洛、渭河水系图。

The Weihe River originates from Weiyuan County, Gansu Province. It runs through the Guanzhong Basin from west to east and into the Yellow River in Tongguan County. The total length of the main stream is 818 kilometers and the drainage area is 63,200 square kilometers (excluding Jing and Luohe). Jing River originates from Jingyuan County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region and flows through counties like Changwu, Binxian, Xunyi, Liquan and Jingyang in our province. It reaches the Weihe River in Gaoling County. The total length of the main stream is 455 kilometers and the drainage area is 45,400 square kilometers. Luohe originated in Dingbian County of our province and flows into counties such as Wuqi, Zhidan, Oasis, Fuxian, Luochuan, Huangling, Yijun, Baishui, Chengcheng and Pucheng counties, and injects into the Weihe River in Dali County, The total length of 680 km, the basin area of 26,900 square kilometers, see Jing, Luo, Wei River water map.
