关于在全世界流行的传染性非典型肺炎,即严重急性呼吸道综合征(Severe Acute Respira-tory Syndrome,简称SARS)。经过我国党和政府和广大人民群众及医务人员的努力,疫情得到有效控制。 2003年4月3-5日,泛美卫生组织(PAHO)在华盛顿召开死因分类组成员会议,决定临时将SARS(严重急性呼吸道综合征)的国际疾病分类编码归类到U04.9以便于识别。归类到U04是因为U00-U03在一些国家中已被使用。目前使用“.9”是为了以后世界卫生组织确定SARS的具体类型。
