无锡市新庙前小学从一九五三年下半年起,就建立了初、高年级两个语文教学研究组,现在共有十五位教师参加,教研组均设有组长一人,负责经常的工作。两年来,该校语文教研组的工作经过摸索过程,已经逐步地改进,活动的方式和内容也已逐步丰富起来,从而造成了教师之间相互学习、相互研究的气氛,对于帮助教师改进语文教学,提高教学水平方面起了一定的作用。因此,教师们对教研组所组织的各种活动,能够积极参加,并且愈益发生兴趣。该校开展语文教研活动的基本特点是:首先是学校领导比较重视,校长王佩珩能够经常领导并参与教研组的各种活动。其次,有明确的活动计划,以上一学期的情况为例,高年级语文教研组重点研究的问题是:
