老子说:“九层之台,起于累土。”英语学习也是这样,高中英语听、说、读、写能力的提高,在很大程度上依赖于词汇。事实上,在现今的高考模式下,英语词汇教学在整个高中英语教学中的地位日趋重要。一、当前高中英语词汇教学的现状近年来全国各地高考对词汇的要求不断提高,高考必备词汇已增加到4000个左右的单词或固定搭配,这对传统的词汇教学提出了挑战。为了更好地了解英语词汇教学的实际情况,笔者对我校的28名高中英语教师进行了简易调查,其结果如下:
