在中国科学院和中国工程院“两院院士书画展”开幕前夕,得知微软中国研究院对书画展的筹办给予了鼎力支持,特来到位于中关村的微软中国研究院,采访了该院院长李开复博士。出生于宝岛台湾、求学于美国,在卡内基梅隆大学获得博士学位的美籍华人李开复院长,风度儒雅,笑容淳厚。当记者问到为什么要热心赞助“两院院士书画展”时,李院长动情地说,中国科学院是中国最崇高的一个科学研究机构,微软公司与中国科学院的关系一向非常友好。微软中国研究院自1998年11月成立以来,取得了初步的成就,这要感谢中国政府、学术研究机构、高校的支持,也要特别感谢中国科学院在与微软中国研究院多
In the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the Chinese Academy of Engineering “Academy of Calligraphy and painting ” on the eve of that Microsoft Research Institute of China on the preparation of calligraphy and painting exhibition gave full support, especially to Zhongguancun Microsoft China Research Institute, interviewed the hospital Dr. Kai-fu Lee. Born in Taiwan, Taiwan, studying in the United States, received a doctorate at Carnegie Mellon University, Chinese American Kai-Fu Lee, decency, elegant smile. When asked why he was enthusiastic about sponsoring the Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition of Academicians and Academics, President Li said emotionally that the Chinese Academy of Sciences is China’s most noble scientific research institution. The relationship between Microsoft and the Chinese Academy of Sciences has always been very friendly.
