The Jilin Chemical Company’s 100,000 t/a polyethylene production plant officially broke ground in May 1994 and completed and produced qualified polyethylene powder in September 1996. The device uses U.S. carbide and plastics company technology and is contracted by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries of Japan. The foundation project is designed by MHI in Japan. The detailed project is from China Global Chemical Engineering Corporation.
