为适应近年汽车轻量化的要求,新日铁公司研制成功了抗拉强度和加工性能皆超过传统热轧高强度钢板的高残留奥氏体热轧高强度钢板。新型钢板不含Ni、Cr等合金元素,而以C-Mn-Si系的普通钢成分为主,利用连续热轧工序的在线轧制、冷却、卷取的综合压下率控制和温度多段控制研制而成。这项新技术在日本尚属首创。现在该公司大分厂已成功地进行大批量生产,月产量已达2500×10~4~3000×10~4t,并已开始出售产品。
