在伟大领袖毛主席“备战、备荒、为人民”的方针指导下,我们开展了利用焦化沥青制取铵沥炸药的试验工作,在我所三宣队的直接领导下我们与石灰石矿的老工人相结合,于七○年一月由几位工程技术人员开始了试验工作,从七○年一月至五月在试验室进行沥青炸药的试验,共试制30次,初步获得成功,由四月至五月在木钢石灰石矿由矿山的老工人、技术人员参加进行了爆炸性能试验,又在抚顺矿务局等厂的协助下作了分析鉴定,证明其性能达到冶金部对2号岩石炸药所颁发的技术指标,初步认为沥青炸药能代替2号岩石炸药中的梯恩梯。
