加拿大的里多运河是2007年登录世界文化遗产名录的新案例。它在申报文本中对于“突出普遍价值”的阐释以及对于遗产元素的认定为其他运河类遗产(例如我国的大运河)提供了宝贵的借鉴。本文将对里多运河申遗文本进行简要阐释,并针对其中遗产价值评估和提名地内遗产元素的定义及分类开展进一步研究,从而探讨当前世界遗产全球战略的趋势下运河类遗产如何回应不断变化的世界遗产标准,同时思考作为一种特殊类型的遗产形式,运河遗产如何做到更充分、有效的展示和保护。
Canada’s Rideau Canal is a new case of the World Heritage List in 2007. Its interpretation of “Outstanding Universal Value ” in the declaration text and its identification of heritage elements provide valuable references to other canals, such as our Grand Canal. This essay will provide a brief explanation of the essay on the edicts of the Rideau Canal and conduct further studies on the definition and classification of elements within the heritage value assessment and nomination to explore how the legacy of the canvass in response to changing trends in the current global heritage strategy for the World Heritage World Heritage standards, thinking about how the heritage of the canal can be more fully and effectively displayed and protected as a special type of heritage.
