New Youth magazine’s predecessor was Chen Duxiu’s “Youth Magazine” founded in Shanghai in 1915 and moved to Beijing in 1917. The academic community saw the start of magazines as the beginning of the new cultural movement. In 2015, Beijing Luxun Museum (Beijing New Culture Movement Memorial Hall) held a series of activities to mark the one hundredth anniversary of the New Culture Movement. One of them is the “Old New Life” of the large-scale cultural relics exhibition.
