驻马店市水资源量相对不足,又由于降水的年内、年际分布极不均匀,目前全市地表水控制利用率不到10%,水质的严重污染又加剧了水资源的短缺。为支撑社会经济的可持续发展,必须采取必要的措施和对策,保证水资源的可持续利用:要加强水资源保护,防止水资源污染;要积极开展雨洪利用,提高水资源利用效率;要搞好水利工程续建配套,大力推广节水灌溉技术;要建立节水型社会,强化水资源管理。
Due to the relatively insufficient water resources in Zhumadian City and the extremely uneven interannual distribution during the year, the surface water utilization in the whole city is less than 10% at present. The serious pollution of water quality exacerbates the shortage of water resources.
