(This newsletter, April 19, 2005 Australian Dairy Association Press Release) Mr. Allan Burgess, president of the Australian Dairy Association, today welcomed the announcement by the Prime Minister that Australia and China will negotiate a free trade agreement. “China is the fastest growing dairy market in the world and the dairy industry in Australia is able to deliver high quality products to China.” Mr. Burgess said trade reforms are crucial to Australian dairy farmers.
