一种强大的日光泵激光器已由以色列雷霍沃特市的魏茨曼科学院发明并成功地经过测试。这种激光器在测试时发出功率为100多瓦纯频红外光。研究人员认为,这种激光器产生的能量是过去的太阳能激光器产生能量的一倍多。
A powerful solar pump laser has been invented and successfully tested by the Weizmann Academy in Rehovot, Israel. The laser emits 100 watts of pure-frequency infrared at the time of testing. The researchers believe that this laser produces energy that is more than double the energy produced by solar lasers in the past.
