我热爱书法,更爱根艺,从1930年以来从未停下过雕刀,创作作品100余件,多是人物、动物等类型,在全省全国参展曾多次得奖,现在退休在家,同树根打交道的时间更多了。根字创作,近两年才开始,谈不上什么经验,只说几点体会。一、根字创作的种类就我所知,目前根字创作有两种:一种是做字,字体多为正楷,方法是写几个字,用复写纸复印在制作板上,将已除皮的长短粗细树根全部拿来,按照板上印好的字样,要多长剪多长,要多粗剪多粗,用胶一截一截地粘贴成字。不过,这种方法全无自然意味,纯属人工做作,不太可取。另一种是找字,多为行书或草书,不照字样,力求天然,很少拼接,这种方法难度较
