Since the enactment of the Social Security Law in 1935, the social security system of the United States has gone through 70 years of ups and downs and has stood the test of financial pressure and the aging of the population. It has become a fairly representative model of the international community today. It is more efficient than the “left-leaning” welfare state model; and unlike the “far right” type of personal account model (fully funded)
