语言和文化的关系密切。语言是文化的产物,又是文化的载体,因此每一种语言都有着独特的文化内涵。而翻译则是一种转换工作,不仅是语言的转换,还有文化的转换。文化现已逐渐成为翻译研究的重要领域。不同民族的思维方式,信仰,价值观和态度是翻译工作者的共同难题,译者必须努力消除原文文本与译文文本,原作者意图与译文读者理解能力之间的差异。
Language and culture are closely related. Language is the product of culture as well as the carrier of culture. Therefore, each language has unique cultural connotation. The translation is a kind of conversion work, not only the language conversion, as well as cultural conversion. Culture has now become an important area of translation studies. The ways of thinking, beliefs, values and attitudes of different ethnic groups are common problems for translators. The translator must work hard to eliminate the differences between the original text and the translated text, the original author’s intention and the reader’s understanding of the translated text.
