水,是城市的血液。密如蛛网的地下供水管道,是城市的血管,通过它把水送到工厂企业和千家万户。这些管道的总长,少则几百公里,多的可达上千公里。如大连市日供水量30万吨,埋在地下的各种口径的供水管道总长度即达2797公里。目前,我国有188个城市缺水,日缺水量达1240万吨,其中工业生产缺水800多万吨。许多工厂企业因供水不足被迫停产、减产,每年损失产值达数亿元。居民生活用水
