After reading “One Hundred Years of Solitude,” I felt deeply sad, even a little bit of anger, in addition to being “lonely” in the book. From Jose Alcatel-Bourdía started the establishment of Macondo in a secluded plot, the hundred-year loneliness of the Bourne family begins. From conservative feudalism to civilized opening up, they have enjoyed decades of war and ushered in the peak of prosperity after the war ended. However, after four years of heavy rains and a decade of drought that destroyed Macondo, it returned to depression and ruin. Finally, in a hurricane swept away, Macondo disappeared from the earth, while the Bourne family was doomed.
