本研究采用实证研究的方法,研究了高职学生在多模态英文报刊教学模式下和传统英文报刊教学模式下的英语综合能力提高情况。总体上,多模态教学模式效果优于传统教学模式,多模态英文报刊教学模式提高了受试群体英语口语、阅读、写作、词汇综合能力,多数学生比较认可多模态英文报刊教学模式。但传统教学模式在单词拼写正确率方面有着很大的优势,教师需要根据教学对象与教学目标调整教学模式,发挥教师多种角色作用,多模态教学模式与传统教学模式相结合。
This study uses empirical research methods to study the higher vocational students’ English comprehensive ability under the multi-modal English newspaper teaching mode and the traditional English newspaper teaching mode. In general, the effect of multimodal teaching model is better than that of traditional teaching mode. Multimodal English newspaper teaching mode enhances oral English ability, reading ability, writing ability and vocabulary comprehension ability. Most students recognize multimodal English newspaper teaching mode. However, the traditional teaching mode has great advantages in terms of word spelling accuracy. Teachers need to adjust the teaching mode according to the teaching objects and teaching objectives, play the role of teachers, and combine the multimodal teaching mode with the traditional teaching mode.
