发展社会主义民主政治,建设社会主义政治文明,是社会主义现代化建设的重要目标和任务,中国共产党从成立到现在一直在为实现这一目标而努力奋斗。发展社会主义民主政治,最根本的要求就是要坚持党的领导、人民当家作主和依法治国的有机结合和辩证统一。要在客观认识世界民主政治制度的同时,坚定不移地走我们自己的民主政治发展道路,切实加强社会主义民主政治的制度化、规范化、程序化建设。
To develop socialist democracy and build a socialist political civilization is an important goal and task for the socialist modernization drive. Since its founding, the CPC has worked hard to achieve this goal. The most fundamental requirement for the development of socialist democracy is to adhere to the organic combination and dialectical unity of the party’s leadership, people’s masters of the country and governing the country according to law. While objectively understanding the world democratic political system, we must unswervingly follow our own path of democratic political development and earnestly strengthen the institutionalization, standardization and procedural construction of socialist democratic politics.
