中国金属学会断裂学科讨论会,作为全国科学技术协会五个学会(地理、动物、林业、航空、金属)学术会议之一,于1977年12月10日至17日在天津召开。这是粉碎“四人帮”以后,十多年来规模最大的一次多科性学术会议。全国科学技术协会代主席周培源同志在大会开幕式上回顾了建国以来全国科协和所属各专门学会在毛主席、周总理亲切关怀下所取得的成就,以及科技战线两个阶级、两条路线的激烈斗争。他要求大家以实际行动贯彻华主席、党中央对科技工作的指示,积极开展学术活动。为促进科学事业兴旺发达,捷报频传而贡献力量。他并阐明我们赶超世界先进水平的有利因素,与会的全体同志,极受鼓舞。
As one of the five academic conferences of the National Association of Science and Technology (Geography, Animal, Forestry, Aviation and Metals), China Metals Society Fracture Discipline Symposium was held in Tianjin from December 10 to 17, 1977.
