浙江省平湖县养殖对虾以规格大、出肉率高、优质高产而闻名全省,其重要原因是在养殖对虾上采用了蜕皮激素新技术。中国对虾一生蜕壳约50次左右。每一次蜕壳在虾体长度和重量上都达到一个新的等量级,特别是后期长重长粗阶段,对促进高产优质更为明显。但蜕壳周期也随对虾生长发育和长大有所拉长。另外,对虾有以大吃小互相残食的习性,如提高蜕壳整齐度,可减少互相残食的机会,相对提高成活率,增加产量。
