我省属少数民族散居省份,现有55个少数民族人口约50万人,呈“大分散、小聚居”状分布。近年来,省民委结合实践,加强和创新民族事务的社会管理,促进民族团结、和谐稳定,取得了显著成效。加强城市民族工作,创新民族和谐社会管理措施。随着城市中少数民族流动人口不断增多和活动范围不断扩大,城市民族关系复杂性及城市民族工作难度不断加大。加强城市民族工作着力从五个方面入手:深入调研,分析城市民族关系状况。各市深入社区调研,摸清了各地城区少数民族群众生活、从业、经营、就学等基本状况,建立了少数民族人口数据库,及外来流动少
