The establishment of a network of military bases extensively in foreign territories is an integral part of the U.S. foreign policy in the postwar period. Its arrogant goal is to encircle China, the Soviet Union and the people’s democracies and to enslave the other countries in order to launch a new war and seize worldwide. Therefore, the U.S. military base network has become one of the major reasons for the extremely tense international relations. At a meeting of foreign ministers, the United States rejected the suggestion of the Soviet Union to include the issue of the North Atlantic Treaty and military bases in the agenda and more clearly exposed the real intention of the United States to establish a military base. Facts show that when the U.S. ruling class, under the pressure of the people, must not accept Malik’s proposal and agree to hold a North Korean truce, when the U.S. warmonger verbally talks about “peace”
