2016年5月15日,湘鄂渝川黔边区职业教育集团成立大会在涪陵召开,标志着由重庆工贸职业技术学院牵头组建的湘鄂渝川黔边区职业教育集团正式成立。来自湖南、湖北、重庆、四川、贵州等五省市边区的24家高职院校、企业和中职学校领导齐聚涪陵,共谋湘鄂渝川黔5省边区职业教育发展大计。教育部职业教育与成人教育司高职发展处处长林宇、重庆市涪陵区人民政府副区长卓大林、重庆市教委高教处副处长吴岚出席成立大会并讲话。大会通过了《湘鄂渝川黔边区职业教育集团章
On May 15, 2016, the founding conference of the Vocational Education Group of Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing and Sichuan and Guizhou Borders was held in Fuling, marking the formal establishment of the Vocational Education Group of Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing, Sichuan and Guizhou Borders, led by the Chongqing Polytechnic. Twenty-four vocational colleges, enterprises and vocational school leaders from Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing, Sichuan and Guizhou provinces gathered in Fuling for conspiring with the development of vocational education in the border areas of Hunan, Hubei, Chongqing, Sichuan and Guizhou.
