The instrument is a single, high-gain operational amplifier, an amplifier with a single front-end semiconductor. Functional miniature components act as an ultra-low bias field effect transposer. Two digitally mounted digital readers are used, one for the potential difference reader and the other for the zero-current monitor. Fluorescent panels (for easy viewing) are read with seven floating-point decimals for ± 0.1% accuracy and a sampling rate of 3 times / second. Two modules of DC power supply are used to supply two ± 15 volts and 100 milliamps of current required by the op amp. Figure 1 shows a complete schematic of the monitor line.
