OBJECTIVE: To observe the effect of Huang Jing Zi on platelet level and volume in acute mastitis rats during lactation. Methods: Twenty-four SD pregnant rats were randomly divided into 6 groups, normal control group, model group, high, medium and low dose of astragalus membranaceus, amoxicillin (positive control group) In the experiment. Except for the normal postnatal rats, all the other postnatal rats were replicated with lactating acute mastitis. The third, fourth and fifth breasts were swabbed with 75% ethanol and then injected with 2 × 10 12 CFM / m L golden yellow Staphylococcus aureus 100μL / side to the rats 3,4,5 pairs (bilateral) breast. The normal control group was injected with normal saline. After 24 h, the high, medium and low dose groups of Radix et Rhizoma were administered with 12, 6 and 3 g / kg of suspension of Vitex negundo, respectively. The control group was orally administered with 150 mg / kg of amoxicillin suspension, normal group and model The control group were given equal volume of saline, continuous administration of 7 d. Peripheral blood, anticoagulant blood test detector. Results: Compared with the model group, the total number of platelets, the average volume and the distribution of platelets in the model group were significantly higher than those in the normal group (P <0.05). Compared with the model group, The total number of platelets, the average platelet volume and the distribution width of platelets in rats (P <0.05). Conclusion: Huang Jingzi can reduce the number of platelets, the average volume and distribution width of acute mastitis rats during lactation, suggesting that the treatment of acute mastitis may be associated with lower platelet levels.
