爱因斯坦是举世闻名的德裔美国科学家, 现代物理学的开创者和奠基人.19世纪末期 是物理学的变革时期,爱因斯坦从实验事实 出发,重新考查了物理学的基本概念,在理论 上作出了根本性的突破.其广义相对论大大 推动了现代天文学的发展.正因为此,爱因斯 坦被誉为世界科学史上的巨人、“20世纪的牛 顿”.有意思的是,这位伟大的物理学家偏爱 解方程,并且他还生动地比喻了解方程的过 程:“代数嘛,就像打猎一样有趣.那藏在树 林里的野兽,你把它叫做x,然后一步步地逼 近它,直到把它逮住!”
