我们地区选育的长果种“马尾麻”,具有植株高大,秆硬皮厚,茎秆粗细均匀,精麻质量好,产量较高,种子熟期适当,收获适时有利冬种等优点,但苗期病害重,保苗困难,往往基本苗不足,有效麻不多,影响产量提高。我们从广东引进的“粤圆5号”圆果种黄麻,具有苗期病害轻、抗倒伏、迟熟、高产的特点,但种子不能成熟。为了选育出能抗病、抗倒伏、中迟熟高产的新品种,我们从1973年开始用“粤圆5号”为砧木,“马尾麻”作接穗进行嫁接,经过四年努力,终获成功。新品种植株高大,平均株高476厘米,比
