合理选择钻孔直径和结构,采用正确的钻进方法,是我们四川地质局在钻探技术方面实行改革的主要内容之一。鉴于新系列φ76毫米双管钻进,其岩、矿芯直径相当或大于原φ75毫米单管或91毫米双管钻进。因此,近年来我们进行了以新系列φ76毫米为基本孔径的普遍改革。从而在原有旧系列的设备、管材、工具的条件下,既易于满足钻进工艺的要求,又扩大了硬质合金钻进的范围,针状合金钻进的比例增大,代替了大部份的钢粒钻进,有效地提高了部份矿区的岩、矿芯采取率和减少了钻孔弯曲,为进一步缩小钻孔直径,简化钻孔结构,逐步采用金刚石钻进打下了基础。
