大红袍(中国十大名茶之一)是福建省武夷岩茶(乌龙茶)中的名丛珍品,是武夷岩茶中的佼佼者,其产于福建崇安东南部的武夷山。武夷山栽种的茶树品种繁多,有大红袍、铁罗汉、白鸡冠、水金龟“四大名丛”;还有以茶生长环境命名的不见天、金锁匙;以茶树形状命名的醉海棠、醉洞宾、钓金龟、凤尾草等;以茶树叶形命名的瓜子金、金钱、竹丝、金柳条、倒叶柳等。大红袍的来历传说古时,有一个穷秀才上京赶考,路过武夷山时,病倒在路上,幸被天心庙的老方丈看见,将其救回庙中,每日都为他泡一碗茶,不久他的病果然好
