響應全國農業生產會議的號召,全國範圍內將展開一個農業生產熱潮。華東區爲保證完成中央所分配的任務,在華東局與華東財經委員會的直接領導下,於一九四九年十一月召開過全區農業生產會議,一九五○年一月又召開了全區農業生產技術會議與農業展覽會。各地區正在召開或已經開過農業生產會議與農業生產的專門會議,如棉農、蔴農代表會議。通過會議確定方針,佈置任務,研究並改進技術,這就打下了完成本區大生產任務的基礎。這裏特將華東區今年農業生產計劃中主要部份,公開發表,供各地研究執行。爲了完成這個偉大任務,希望各地用各種各樣的形式,如報紙、刊物及召開縣的、村的各種生產會議,將方針、計劃、任務、技術指導,廣泛宣傳,變爲廣大農民的生產計劃和任務。
