人类历史是通过人物活动来体现的,特别是那些具有代表性的历史人物的活动,反映了各个时代的生动画面。因此,人物志在编史修志中占有重要地位。军事人物志是整个人物志中的重要组成部分。一部中国近代史,基本上是一部战争史。鸦片战争以来,就经历了太平天国革命、辛亥革命、军阀混战、土地革命战争、抗日战争和解放战争。其间涌现出许多叱咤风云的优秀军事人物,把他们的光辉业绩、高尚品格载入史册,将使人们受到深刻教育和鼓舞;而实录那些阻碍社会前进的反动军事人
Human history is manifested through the activities of characters, especially the activities of representative historical figures, which reflect the vivid images of various periods. Therefore, the character records in the history of Chi Chi occupies an important position. Military character is an important part of the whole person. A modern Chinese history is basically a history of war.
