In May 2015, the dry bulk shipping market in the Yangtze River slightly picked up. The Composite Freight Index for the Yangtze River dry bulk cargoes for the month was 670.33 points, up 0.86% from the previous month. Of which: the demand for coal in the recent years has been significantly raised along the Yangtze River, and the market of the coal transportation in the Yangtze River continued to pick up slightly. The coal freight index for the month was 582.14 points, up 0.81% from the previous month. Iron ore demand along the Yangtze River basically stable, out of normal demand for replenishment, the Yangtze River metal ore transport market conditions rebounded slightly. This month, the metal ore freight index was 626.57 points, up
