记者:请您谈谈本届国展的总体情况。陈传席:天津主办全国性的中国画展还是第一次,以前从来没有。天津这次很重视,很好。记者:本次展览的入选作品您怎么看,在您意料之中还是之外?陈传席:作品没有我想象得好。全国美展五年一次,应该更好些。这次我觉得也不是十分理想。有几个方面:第一,人物画的成就还是比较高一些,这是好的方面;但也有问题,工笔画居多,写意画少了。很多人说工笔画太多了,写意画少了。我认为工笔画太多倒不是问题。现在整体上,写意画水平不是很高,大部分画传统的人对传统不是太

There are several aspects: First, the achievements of figure painting is still relatively high, which is a good aspect; but there are also problems with a large number of works of art and painterly paintings. Many people say that there are too many strokes and there are not many freehand paintings. I think too much stroke painting is not a problem. As a whole, the level of freehand brushwork is not very high. Most of the traditional people who paint the tradition are not too traditional
