经过一年多的司法队伍整顿,审判机关的干部队伍整体素质有了明显提高,受到了人民群众的欢迎.但是当前审判机关存在的腐败现象也不容忽视,如徇私枉法、贪污受贿、敲诈勒索、刑讯逼供、赌博嫖娼,甚至替犯罪分子通风报信等现象依然存在.当前,审判机关腐败现象主要有以下几个特点:一是涉及面广.腐败分子虽然为数很少,但腐败行为和现象则呈范围大、面积广、类型多的特点.从查处的审判机关腐败案件看,涉及审判机关各个环节和多种类型.有的在立案中犯罪、审理中犯罪,也有的在执行中犯罪;有经济犯罪、渎职犯罪,也有其他刑事犯罪.二是量多职高.近几年查处的审判机关违法犯罪人员中,数量逐年增多,职级升高,院长、副院长一级的领导干部占相当比例.广西高院原副院长潘宜乐因犯受贿罪被判了刑,可以证明腐败分子的职级上升到了一定程度.
