就语言教学法的发展来说,目前可算是二十世纪以来最不寻常的一个时期。究竟该选用什么样的方法,众说纷纭,莫衷一是。本世纪内,得到公认的教学法不断更迭:“语法-翻译法”让位给“直接法”,不久,后者又为“阅读法”所取代,然后第二次世界大战爆发了,所谓“陆军法”就应运而生,战后,“陆军法”则成为“听说法”。在五十年代和六十年代这二十年内,“听说法”在美国以及世界其他许多地方,都享有无可争议的至高地位。不过,这也仅止于六十年代而已。
As far as the development of language pedagogy is concerned, the most unusual period since the twentieth century can now be considered. What kind of method should be selected, different opinions, incomprehensible. This century of recognized teaching methods is constantly changing: the “grammar-translation law” gives way to the “direct law,” and soon it is replaced by “reading law,” and then the Second World War broke out. The so-called “ Army Law ”came into being. After the war, the“ Army Law ”became a“ law of hearing and hearing. ” During the two decades of the 1950s and 1960s, the Law of Hear & Worsevery enjoys an undisputed supremacy in the United States and in many other parts of the world. However, this is only limited to the sixties.
