The strategic decision put forward by the 14th National Party Congress to speed up economic development in ethnic minority areas and get rid of poverty as soon as possible has injected great vitality into the development of ethnic and poverty-stricken areas. This is both an opportunity and a pressure for our Mabian Yi Autonomous County. Both sides of the border are rich in natural resources that are in urgent need of development.
