Beginning with the second half of the 20th century, the changes in Japan’s social structure and the internationalization and globalization of its industrial structure have a direct impact on the growth environment of students. Diversification of employment patterns and the acceleration of mobility have led to an increasing number of students failing to over-reach the workplace smoothly from school, making it increasingly difficult to portray future career ideals. Therefore, Japan has established a model for Japan to promote student development through mutual cooperation among schools, families, enterprises and public institutions, and to strengthen vocational education in primary and secondary schools.
